Privacy Policy

Intarsia Patterns ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Intarsia Patterns mobile application (available on iOS and Android) and the website intarsiawoodpatterns.com. We provide digital intarsia woodworking pattern blueprints, AI-powered photo vectorization tools, and a comprehensive timber encyclopedia. Account data: When you create an account (via email or Apple Sign In), we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. Account data is stored securely on our cloud infrastructure (Supabase).

Subscription & purchase data: If you subscribe to Intarsia Studio Pro (Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime), payment is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details. We receive only a confirmation of your subscription status through RevenueCat.

On-device processing: All photo segmentation, image vectorization calculations, SVG generation, and PDF blueprint exports are performed entirely on your local device. No photos, sketches, or workshop patterns are ever uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.

Usage data (website only): On our website, we automatically collect log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent, to operate and improve the service. We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies (which you may decline).

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Intarsia Patterns app and website
• Authenticate your account and manage your subscription status
• Sync your saved patterns and preferences across your devices
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• Send marketing emails if you opted in (unsubscribe any time)
• Detect fraud and enforce our Terms of Use
• Improve the platform through aggregated, anonymized analytics

We share personal data only with the following third-party service providers who help us operate the app and website:

• Apple / Google: Payment processing for in-app subscriptions
• RevenueCat: Subscription status management
• Supabase: Authentication and cloud data storage

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to perform services on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Intarsia Patterns, our users, or the public.

We retain your account and pattern data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (available in Settings > Delete Account), we will erase your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records kept for 7 years).

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EEA residents and CCPA for California residents), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at legal@intarsiawoodpatterns.com with the subject line "Privacy Request."

We use industry-standard measures (TLS encryption, access controls, routine security reviews) to protect your data. All creative work (photo vectorization, SVG/PDF generation) is processed on-device and never leaves your phone or tablet. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
